How to install drawer slides on face frame cabinets. Insert the drawer slides into the metal brackets at the back of the cabinet. With the drawer opening face frame s side you need to attach glide s front left edge. Hold a drawer face against a drawer then use your fist to pound on the face to leave screw head impressions on drawer front. Push the drawers into the cabinet until the drawer slides click into the retention clips.
Now using the same manner you need to install right side drawer glide. You need to make a connection between the left edge and side of drawer opening using mounting screws. This is for the left drawer glide by the way. Clicking both glides into mounting bracket from the carcase simply extend both drawer slides.
Drawer slides need to be installed at a perfect 90 degree angle to the cabinet or furniture face. Center the screw in the oval shaped hole. Once the rear bracket is secured attach the front of the slide to the inside of the face frame. Do this for the right side drawer slide as well.
Drill screw pilot holes then screw the clips to the drawer. While the solution is to manually reset the slide it s a trial and error process. Insert the slide into the cabinet and making sure the slide is exactly parallel to the side of the cabinet use the included screws to secure the rear bracket to the rear of the cabinet. Using a drill or screwdriver and the screws provided with the kit screw the slide marked dr to the bottom right of the drawer.
Use a pair of mounting screws to do so. Screw the front end of the slides to the cabinet face frame. Use the oval shaped screw holes one in front and one in back. And the consequence of being off a few degrees is the drawer front will not sit flush with the face of the cabinet.
